As her cousins had declared her to be the 'family historian', Linda decided to arrange a day in which the living decendants of Henry Ellis (b 1786 - shown right) could get together to meet one another, - some for the first time!

The afternoon started with cold drinks and a salad lunch, after which the photograph albums came out, and Geoff was kept busy with his scanner all afternoon. As the shadows started to lengthen, we enjoyed a cream tea with cake, whilst listening to a 'phonograph' version of 'Land Of Hope and Glory'
